About Us
Heat Pipe Heat Exchangers India. Previously known as THERMOSYS is a years old establishment engaged in manufacturing of Heat pipes. We started working on the concept of heat pipe in 1986 when there was hardly any awareness of such a device in the industry. After many years of R&D and hard ship we have established our self as heat pipe manufacturers in the industry. Since the company was established we have developed various types of Heat pipes and systems incorporating heat pipes as per the requirements of end users. We have solved thermal problems of several sectors of industries, including military and space agencies.
Our expertise lays in heat solutions for critical electronic components and thermal management in waste heat recovery systems, We have wide range of products which includes, Solar water heaters, oil coolers, Flue gas recovery systems, electronic cooling, Electronic panel coolers, Mould cooling, De-humidifiers in HVAC systems, Steam /vapor condensers, Heat equalizers, Direct flame heating heat pipes for chemical dryers. Heat pipes can be of shapes as tubular, flattened, with the fins, jacketed, with Bends and Curves. Our products undergo strict quality control so that they work efficiently for many years to come.

Customer Success Stories: How Heat Pipes & Heat Recovery Powered Efficiency
What is a Heat Pipe ?
Heat pipe is a sealed container of stainless steel, copper, aluminum, or mild steel having a wicking capillary structure which helps to wet all the inside surface . It consists of a liquid which works as a heat transfer agent, When heat is applied at any point of heat pipe surface, liquid boils and gets converted to gas, as the liquid changes phase from liquid to gas it pickups latent heat of vaporization and it travels at the colder end at sonic speed due to pressure difference. This part of the heat pipe is called evaporator, Gas reaching cold end condenses releasing latent heat of condensation, condensed liquid returns back to the evaporator through capillary structure. The cycle of evaporation and condensation continues till the heat is applied to the surface of heat pipe, process of evaporation and condensation makes it possible to transfer large quantity of heat at small temperature gradient along its axis. Due to isothermal quality of heat pipes they are also used as temperature equalizers.

Below are some Frequently Asked Questions for heat pipes
-
What's the difference between a heat pipe and a heat exchanger?
Both manage heat, but they do it differently: Pipe: A sealed tube containing a working fluid that transfers heat from a hot zone to a cool zone through evaporation and condensation. It's great for transferring heat over long distances with high efficiency. Heat Exchanger: Transfers heat between two fluids (liquids or gases) at different temperatures. They don't necessarily change phase, and are used for various applications like car radiators.

What are some common applications of heat pipes and heat exchangers?
Pipes: Electronics cooling, laptops, satellites, solar panels. Heat Exchangers: Car radiators, air conditioners, power plants, refrigerators.
